Force of Nature takes campers from ages 8 to 12. The campers are split up by age groups, although there are some larger group activites that the whole camp takes part of!
Our groups are as follows:
Group 8 - 9
Group 9 - 10
Group 10 - 11
Group 10 - 12
Our camp takes place in a large provincial park with wide trails and open natural spaces. The age groups we work with are a little more independent and comfortable being outdoors, which helps them enjoy exploring the park safely and confidently while taking part in all of our activities.
The registration fee is $350 per camper per week.
Unfortunately there is no discount for booking multiple weeks or for multiple children.
The registration fee covers all camp activites.

Yes, families are welcome to request that their child be placed with a sibling or friend during camp. We do our best to honor all grouping requests while still keeping groups balanced by age and size to ensure a positive experience for every camper. Our goal is to help children feel comfortable and supported while also creating opportunities for them to meet new friends and enjoy all that camp has to offer.
To register, click the Register button on our website. This will take you to our official Google Form, where you will enter your child’s information, select your camp week, and submit your registration. The Google Form is the only way to register for Force of Nature Outdoor Camp, and all spots are filled on a first come, first served basis. You will recieve a confirmation email within 24 hours of registration and payment.
We maintain a ratio of one counsellor for every eight campers, with groups typically made up of about 16 children.
Each group is also supported by volunteers, which allows for extra supervision, guidance, and support throughout the day.
Campers should bring their own lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle each day. We have two scheduled snack times and lunch is around 12:00 pm, so we encourage campers to eat a good breakfast to help fuel their day. If a camper feels they need an extra snack or a break, they are encouraged to let a staff member know and we will support them as needed.
If a camper runs out of snacks, they can let a staff member know. We keep extra snacks on hand for situations like this and will make sure your child is taken care of so they can stay comfortable and enjoy their day. All medical and dietary forms are reviewed so that any snacks we provide meet your child’s dietary restrictions and needs.
There are highly accessible water bottle fill stations and washrooms located throughout the park. The washrooms closest to our pavilions include four fully separate washrooms, making them easy and convenient for campers to use throughout the day.
No, you may drop off and pick up your child at any time during camp hours. We ask that you let a lead counsellor know if you plan to arrive later or pick up early, as groups may sometimes be exploring different areas of the park.
At this time, we do not offer before or after care.
At the start of the camp day, staff will be located around Parking Lot A to receive late campers. If you have a designated late drop off time, please contact forceofnature@gmail.com.
If you are running late to pick up, you can email or call us at (289) 707-5062 to let us know. We ensure all campers will remain with a staff member until they are safely picked up.
Only the individuals listed on the registration form are permitted to pick up a camper, unless a parent or guardian provides a change at drop off or over email. If someone who is not listed arrives to pick up a child, the camper will not be released until a certified contact has been reached by phone and approval has been confirmed. You are welcome to add as many certified pick ups as you would like!
Yes, an adult must be present during drop off in order to sign the camper in.
MUST SHOW A PIECE OF ID AT PICK UP.
You do not need to show ID at drop off, but a counsellor will record the name of the person dropping off the camper. For pick up, a piece of ID is required, and the person must be listed on the certified pickup list in order for the camper to be released.
Yes, camp runs rain or shine! Our staff closely monitors weather conditions and adjusts activities to keep campers safe and comfortable. On rainy or extreme weather days, we use sheltered areas and modify activities as needed. We encourage campers to arrive dressed for the weather, including rain gear, hats, or extra layers when appropriate.
Force of Nature is a NUT-AWARE camp. Since Bronte Creek is a public park that is used by many visitors outside of camp hours, we cannot guarantee a completely nut-free environment. To address this, we strive to maintain clean eating areas, do not allow food sharing, and take allergies seriously. All medical and allergy forms are reviewed carefully at the start of each week so our staff can closely monitor and support campers as needed.
Individual one on one support is not available during our summer camp sessions. While we work hard to create a supportive and inclusive environment for every camper, our staffing model does not allow for dedicated one on one care. However, we keep small counsellor to camper ratios so each child receives personal attention and guidance within their group. In addition, our director and lead staff team are trained to step in and provide extra support whenever a camper needs it.
You are weclome to register at any time as long as there is still availability! Please keep our cancellation policy in mind if you are booking on short notice. Since we run small group programs, registering early is the best way to make sure your child gets a spot!
Campers should bring a refillable water bottle, a packed lunch, two snacks, and any required medications. We also recommend sunscreen, a hat, comfortable outdoor clothing, and running shoes. Since we spend the day outside, we suggest sending an extra set of clothes for events like rain, water play, or getting muddy.
There is no minimum or maximum number of weeks required. Families are welcome to register for one week or multiple weeks, depending on what works best for them. As long as space is available, you can choose as many weeks as you would like for your child!
Each week has its own theme and set of activities, so campers will always have something new to experience. We also encourage families to complete the “About My Child” section on the registration form, which helps our staff tailor activities to the interests and personalities of the campers in each group.
Each child must be registered separately so we can collect the correct information, medical details, and emergency contacts for every camper.
Safety is our top priority!
We maintain low counsellor to camper ratios, use clear supervision zones, and keep campers in designated areas of the park at all times. Staff are trained in camp safety procedures, first aid, and emergency response. At the beginning of each week, we set clear expectations with campers about behaviour, boundaries, and safety rules. We also place a strong focus on communication, both among staff and with campers, so that concerns, needs, and changes are addressed quickly and effectively.
Force of Nature is built around intentional outdoor learning, creativity, and small group experiences. We take advantage of our provincial park setting to offer real exploration, hands on activities, and meaningful time outside rather than staying in one space. Our carefully selected staff and thoughtful programming balance structure with freedom, keeping camp both fun and exciting. Every week is different, so campers always have something new to look forward to.
We plan a wide variety of activities that include movement, games, creativity, and hands on learning. Each week, we adjust programming based on the interests of the group so campers can spend more time doing what they enjoy most.
Yes! Force of Nature is a welcoming and supportive environment for first time campers. Our staff take extra care to help children feel comfortable, make friends, and understand the daily routine so they can settle in and enjoy their experience.
We do not encourage electronics at camp. Campers are welcome to bring a phone if needed, but we ask that it stays in their bag during the day. We strongly advise against bringing devices to avoid distractions, damage, or lost items so campers can focus on enjoying their time at camp.
This is very common, especially for first time campers. Our staff are trained to comfort, listen, and gently support children when they are feeling upset or overwhelmed. We use calm reassurance, positive redirection, and communication to help campers feel safe and settled so they can enjoy their day.
Dress up days are just for fun, and participation is completely optional. Campers are welcome to join in if they would like, but there is no pressure to dress up!
When groups leave their pavilion or shelter, campers’ belongings are stored in a locked bin at their designated shelter under staff supervision. If a group is traveling to a different area of the park for an extended activity, campers may bring their belongings with them so they have what they need throughout the day.
Our staff are trained in First Aid and emergency response so they can quickly and confidently handle injuries or health concerns if they arise.
If you have any additional questions, you can reach us anytime at forceofnature@gmail.com or by phone at (289) 707-5062.
We are always happy to help!
